The Wedding of Kayla and Dom

Wedding of Kayla and Dom

There’s nothing more important to Dom and Kayla than being surrounded by family and friends. So it’s no surprise that one of their fondest memories from their special day was being able to share their happiness with their loved ones.

It only took a few hours of speaking to Dom, before one of Kayla’s friends decided that Kayla and Dom would be a perfect fit for each other. And so they were introduced through mutual friends and a 3 hour phone call, two dates, and two weeks later, they were officially together. And now these two soul mates have tied the knot in a picture perfect ceremony at The Cathedral of St Stephen followed by a reception in Victoria Park’s Ballroom.

For Kayla, she loved that Victoria Park was still centrally located but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to make it feel ‘like it was in the country’. When they saw the Ballroom, they just loved it.

On the day, it was even more special when it was bought to life with some beautiful styling. “The way that our Victoria Park stylist put together the Ballroom, including finding a new backdrop at the last minute (as the planned one fell through on the day), leaving a hand written note on our table and advice on our heart advice cards made us feel special and thankful we chose Victoria Park,” said Kayla.

As far as decorating goes, Kayla says that it’s the simple, special touches that make it more meaningful and thoughtful. Kayla and Dom used a personalised finger print tree, heart advice cards for guests to write personalised messages on, a thank you card on each table from Kayla and Dom, a photobooth to share the memories, personalised cake box stickers and photo frames from home.

When asked what their favourite part of their wedding was, the answer was simple…

“Sharing our love and making memories with our closest friends and families”.
